4 New 44CON 2018 Videos

We’ve added another 4 videos from 44CON 2018 to 44CON TV. Our older conf talk videos are also moving over to the channel. If you want them in your YouTube stream, don’t forget to subscribe to 44CON TV and click the bell. Once all the videos are up, we’ll start work on other ways to access our content. Lets see what’s new!

ISECOM and Hacker High School’s Pete Herzog talks to us about SecOps in an abusive codependant working environment. It’s a tough subject, made easier through Pete’s straight-talking, fact-backed and humorous delivery. If you’re finding it tough to get your organization on-board, then you have to watch this talk.

Some people think that PHP security is the impossible dream, but not Julien, nor Thibault. Their PHP security module is a Suhosin replacement that passively kills entire bug classes and supports virtual patching at the PHP level.

Gabriel Ryan returns with attacks on EAP, used in 802.1x. For years most of us have relied on various versions of attacks pioneered by Skip Duckwall back in 2004. Gabriel has gone beyond this, implementing a bunch of EAP attacks and rolling it up into a single, artisanal tool suite for your pentesting enjoyment.

Phillipe Arteau walks us through using machine learning to help hunt bugs in static analysis. By using some basic techniques such as random forest and naive Bayesian analysis, Arteau shows us how to use ML to identify and classify bugs, finding some interesting 0days in the process.

We still have more 2018 videos to release. Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel to catch them as they come out!
