We’ve got an amazing year ahead with 5 events across the UK. Our first training session this March is in London, where we’re running 5 different training courses over two days, with a 44CONnect event in between. Check out these amazing courses!
AWS, Azure and GCP Security
Learn the fundamentals of AWS, Azure and GCP, their security services and features with Paul Schwarzenberger. You’ll hear about real life common mistakes and misconfigurations in the cloud, and gain an understanding of how to identify vulnerabilities, and prevent data breaches such as the 2019 Capital One incident. There’s no need to create accounts or receive unexpected bills – you’ll be provided with credentials for hands-on labs in each cloud platform.
GLIBC Heap Exploitation Lab
The GNU C Library (GLIBC) is a fundamental part of most Linux distributions. Its memory allocator is used in everything from threads to I/O. Learn how to leverage this vast attack surface with over 11 different heap exploitation techniques, from the original “Unsafe Unlink” to the cutting-edge “House of Corrosion”. This course is ideal for students looking to go beyond stack-based overflows. Max Kamper’s 2-day course will ensure you’ll never look at an ld.so file the same way again.
Hack 2 Basics
Want to learn about exploit development but feeling overwhelmed about all the latest technologies and buzzwords? Join Telspace’s Manny and Thanasis for a two-day course providing you with foundational level exploit development skills using real world exploitation techniques. This will range from “Vanilla” EIP overwrites through to Structured Exception Handler(SEH) exploitation and how egg hunters work with practical examples.
In & Out – The Network Data Exfiltration Techniques Training
The In & Out – Network Exfiltration and Post-Exploitation Techniques [RED Edition] training class has been designed to present students modern and emerging TTPs for network exfiltration and lateral movement. Leszek Miś’ highly technical, hands-on approach guarantees that the usage of this transferred knowledge & tactics in real production environments will be easy, smooth and repeatable.
Mastering Container Security
This course takes a deep dive into the world of Linux containers, covering fundamental technologies and practical approaches to attacking and defending container-based systems such as Docker and Kubernetes. The 2020 version focuses more on Kubernetes as it emerges as the dominant core of cloud native systems along with the wider ecosystem of products used with Kubernetes. NCC group’s Rory McCune is an author of the CIS Benchmarks for Docker and Kubernetes.
Training takes place on the 12th and 13th of March at the Novotel London West. A 44CONnect event will run on the evening of the 12th. Food will be provided for March training attendees. 44CONnect is an invite only event open to anyone who’s trained with us in the past 12 months. If you’d like an invite, email the person who invited you last time…
