Training abstract

Join Tony Badsey-Ellis, 2T Security‘s  Head of Risk Management, on this instructor-led practical workshop where you will learn the fundamentals of the RiskTree® approach and the process of efficient, collaborative and concise risk management. This provides a data-driven business-focused way to quickly and effectively assess risk and get results that can be understood throughout an organisation, using our innovative software as part of the process.

During this workshop we will focus on the processes you can deploy within your organisation as part of RiskTree, utilising the attack tree approach. This is free-form (but structured and methodical) and focuses on the goals and processes of the attacker, and how these impact on your business. The RiskTree process provides a repeatable and systematic way of cataloguing the risks to a system or process. It is not full of technical jargon, and the best trees are formed in a collaborative process that actively involves the business.

Attendees will receive hands-on experience with the software, covering attack tree building, risk scoring, applying countermeasures, and use of the reporting engine, together with many other features such as how to align to easily align to compliance and controls frameworks such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and the NCSC’s Cloud Security Principles.  A one-year RiskTree subscription will also be provided.
